Christmas at Eastern Valley Foodbank 

As we begin to approach the festive season here at Eastern Valley Foodbank it is our busiest time of year. During December we see an increase in the number of referrals from our partnerships for people in need of support.  

The festive period can be a tough time many people and for those in need it can be hard to reach out and ask for help.   

Last year in 2024 we helped to support people in need. 

In December 2024 –561 people (5049 meals approximately) were provided. 

November 2024- 587 people (5283 meals approximately) were provided.  

We are in preparation for the festive period and have already received some festive items to send out in food parcels.  

How you can help 

If you would like to help support us and people in the community who are in need you can do this by making a donation either through our online JustGiving page, bank transfer or popping along to one of our donation points and donate some food items or Christmas items to people in need.

If you need support during this time of year, please do not hesitate to reach out. We believe that anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. Our food parcels give 3 days nutritionally balanced emergency food. Through our partnerships and referral scheme we provide support to those who need help in the community.
